Modules for Gansey sites
Modules add features to a site: pages, widgets for the builder, admin screens. Each one says up front what it may touch, and a site installs only packages signed by us.
Installing a module
In the admin, open Modules, then Registry, and choose Install. Or from the command line:
gansey mod add <id>
Signed by us
- Every package is signed when we publish it. A site checks the signature before it installs anything, and refuses a package that does not match.
- Free packages need only the site's licence key. Paid ones download for the sites that hold them.
- A package lists what it may touch, and the site holds it to that list.
